Lakhvir completed his physiotherapy training at the University of Queensland. He has diverse physiotherapy experience including outpatient musculoskeletal care, overseas work at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium, and has worked extensively with neurological, elderly and balance patients.
Lakhvir has a particular passion for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy and brings an evidence-based approach with the latest research to his practice.
He has tutored anatomy at the University of Queensland and provided sports first aid at Brisbane Boys College for various sports including rugby, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and cricket.
Lakhvir is also a published author in the journal Musculoskeletal Science and Practice, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field of physiotherapy through research and academic contributions.
Outside of work, Lakhvir indulges his love for sports, actively participating in cricket, tennis, and squash. You’ll also catch him in the crowd at Rocks Riverside weekly park run. Having shared his younger years between Far North Queensland and Punjab, Lakhvir is fluent in Punjabi and has a deep appreciation for poetry.
