General Physiotherapy

Attending for General Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists are first contact practitioners meaning they are highly trained in assessing, treating, and managing a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and injuries. If you are suffering from pain or injury physiotherapy is very likely to help. Additionally, no doctor referral is required to attend physiotherapy.

We accept all private health cards with easy claiming through our HICAPS/EFTPOS machine. Your individual private health fund and level of cover will determine any gap payment for physiotherapy.

What We Will Do:

  • Ask you about your presenting condition and symptoms
  • Perform a thorough physical examination
  • Assess your movement and mobility
  • Explain findings and diagnosis
  • Provide skilled hands-on therapy to improve pain and movement
  • Teach you exercises and strategies to self-manage your condition or injury
  • Provide you with an ongoing plan towards recovery

Our physiotherapists can also refer you to a GP or specialist if further medical testing or management is required. We work with you and your health team to ensure the best care and outcomes.
